I buy the Colorwood as a block of laminated wood. It's been pressed so the wood is very hard. As I turn the shape I want, different layers of color are revealed. So a symmetrical pattern emerges.

The finish is 3 coats of Deft lacquer. The 3 coats are important for water resistance. I've put a coat of Renaissance wax on the cured lacquer, so the perfume bottle is well protected.

Of course you can use this for aromatherapy fragrances too.
