Semi-retiring

Though at 88 I'm too young to retire, I've decided not to fill orders for bottle stoppers and toothpick holders any more. This will give me more time to experiment and just have fun in the shop. I may still post new work here; if so, there will be an announcement on the home page.

I'm taking a vacation from giving woodturning lessons too.

Work no longer on exhibit at Center Gallery, Sautee, GA

In the past, I exhibited often at the Center Gallery in Sautee, Georgia. My December 2006 show was there, featuring turned wooden perfume bottles.

June-Sept. 2006 featured artist exhibit

The June-Sept. 2006 exhibit, "Exotic Perfume Bottles from the Lathe," was a tremendous success. Thanks to the Center Gallery for choosing me as featured artist. The opening was unforgettable, and the sales were excellent too. The three woodturning demonstrations were well attended and lively.
