Hand Made Wooden Box - Hackberry with Ebony Lid:

I think I've never seen a block of wood as hard as this hackberry. Although I felt I needed a pneumatic drill to hollow it out, I loved the translucent gleam of this wood. This box demanded a lid of purest ebony to complement the purity of the hackberry container.
