Wine bottle corks - Spalted Maple

The spalting gives this maple its lovely flowing lines. Right now I have some beautiful spalted maple. I'm using it to turn wine bottle corks like this one, as well as pocket toothpick holders, perfume bottles, and more.

Wine bottle corks as gift items

The wine bottle corks make wonderful Christmas gifts. They're also welcome hostess gifts, easy to pack for traveling. Bottle stoppers are also a Father's Day favorite.

Wine bottle corks - finish

All the wine bottle corks are finished with 3 coats of Deft lacquer for water resistance. They may be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth, as needed.
